Is there a specific dress code or uniform for the students?

Yes, there is a ballet uniform consisting of a leotard, skirt, tights, and ballet flats. You can also purchase the uniform from Dance Theater Manille by contacting Ms. Perla Lumanta (Viber 0977 667 2421).

Are the instructors qualified?

Yes, the instructors are qualified. They have extensive dance knowledge and have danced for years before becoming an instructor at Dance Theater Manille.

Why can’t I enroll in some programs?

Some programs are by invitation only. Students are invited to these programs (Classical Sculpting Program, Private Coaching, Specialized Coaching Program) by the directress, Ms. Elinor Dioko, based on their readiness and strength in their level classes.

Are there regular performances the students join?

Yes, Dance Theater Manille has annual recitals and shows, usually at the end of the year and start of the new year (before Christmas and after New Year). The theme and production changes per year. Auditions are held around August to September for major roles and preparations usually begin late September to October.

Are there other special training programs for the students?re there regular performances the students join?

Yes, there are special trainings other than the ones listed. Every other year, a chosen group of students travel to other countries to train and perform. In previous years, they would visit the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet (ACB) in Melbourne, Australia, and more recently, RavenSquid Ballet Compagnie (RSBC) in Paris, France.

Can the studio space be rented?
